  • Bring and wear a well fitting N95/KN95/KF94 mask to your appointment.

Inspiration photos are so helpful to me! Please bring a few in, especially if you are unsure of what you want.

    Please arrive with clean/washed hair.

If your hair has product in it or has been creased/bent for any reason (hat, helmet, ponytail, pillow, etc.), please rinse/wash your hair before the appointment.

For folks with curly hair, please arrive with your hair shampooed, conditioned, detangled, and styled in its natural state. This is important as currently I am only offering dry cut and go services.

  • My clients have a range of textures from pin straight to tight coils. My own hair is straight and that shapes my personal experience of hair care. I've dedicated a significant amount of time to learning how to cut, style, and care for curly/coily hair, and am proud that my curly/coily haired clients are happy with their cuts! That being said, I'm still developing my knowledge base and am not a curly specialist, especially with longer coily hair styles. If you're unsure if I would be a good fit for you as a hair cutter or coach, I encourage you to reach out to me to ask.

  • If you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment we may have to reschedule you for another time/date, because I never want to rush your hair cut!

Arrival 20 minutes late or more is considered a late cancellation and will be charged 100% of the full service price.

  • Please cancel as soon as possible.

Cancellations within 6 hours of appointment will be charged 100% of the reserved service fee. Cancellations within 24 hours of appointment will be charged a 50% of the reserved service fee. If you are unable to cancel your appointment it is because the time frame has expired. Please contact me directly before making any additional bookings.

Sickness: If you are feeling sick, please cancel! I waive cancelation fees for any COVID/sickness related cancellations.

A no show will result in a 100% charge of the reserved service fee.

  • I prefer cash! But I also accept all cards, Apple Pay, CashApp, and Zelle.

There is an ATM at the bodega that is across from the studio building.

Tip is not inclusive in the service fee. Tips are optional but always appreciated!

  • I carry fragrance-free products, and at your request, I can use them during your cut. You are also welcome to bring your own products. My linens are washed in scent free detergent. I don't wear scents myself.

However, the studio I cut in is a shared space, and other stylists use scented products. The window beside my chair will be open, but if you need a 100% scent free experience I might not be a good fit for your needs.
